A kitchen sponge touches everything you eat from. Keeping it hygienic takes less than a minute a day.

Clean it : Rinse the sponge thoroughly after every use and squeeze it out completely. Once or twice a week, deep-clean it — soak it in hot water for a few minutes or run it through the top rack of the dishwasher.

Dry it: Bacteria love a wet sponge. Store yours where air can circulate — a sponge holder at the sink edge or a small rack, never flat in a puddle at the bottom of the sink. Seinora sponges are shaped to drain and dry quickly, but they still need airflow.

Replace it : No sponge lasts forever. Swap yours for a fresh one every two to four weeks of daily use, or sooner if it smells, stays discoloured after rinsing, or starts breaking apart. Old sponges get a second life as bathroom or shoe-cleaning scrubbers — just label them so they never return to the kitchen.
